Fulfilling our calling to serve God by serving others
- Though God the Son is God in every way, he became a human being (Jesus) and took the form of a servant as an act of humility and obedience (Mark 10:42-45; Phil 2:5-9)
- Jesus washed his disciple’s feet as a model for them to serve one another (Jn 13:12-17)
- We are set free from sin to serve one another through in love (Gal 5:13-14)
- God has given us natural talents and spiritual gifts so that we can serve one another earnestly in love (1 Cor 12:7, 1 Pet 4:8-11)
I like the way the church serves others.
I want to learn how to serve others with my gifts and abilities.
I am actively serving in a ministry and desire my service to be more meaningful and fruitful.
I am helping others find joy in serving God. I am learning to serve for nothing except love for God and neighbourregardless of the challenges or outcomes.
