Deepening our spiritual relationship with God through prayer, worship and the work of the Holy Spirit.
- The life of faith (experiencing God, being born again) is a life in the Spirit (John 3:4-8).
- Jesus lived in close communion with God the Father and the Spirit throughout his life (Luke 1:35, 3:21-22, 4:1, 4:14, 6:12, 9:28, 22:42-44).
- Christ has given us the Holy Spirit of Truth to guide us into all truth (Jn 16:13-15).
- The Holy Spirit empowers us for ministry and mission, and transforms us from glory to glory into the likeness of Christ (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4; 2 Cor 3:17-18).
- Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19-20), in which we live out our Christian character (fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:16-24).
I am exploring what it means to have a relationship with God
I have received Christ and want to experience more of him in my daily life.
I am walking closely with Christ and desire more of the Spirit’s transforming power in and through me.
I am helping others to grow in their spiritual life. I want to grow deeper in my walk with God even through the dark nights of the soul.
