Growing in faith, hope and love in the family of the church.
- God the Son (Jesus) was born as human being to be part of our human community (John 1:9, 14; Phil 2:7)
- The first church was a community that gathered in fellowship and supported one another in faith and love (Acts 2:42-47). This is their Christian distinctive (John 13:34-35).
- We are to stir up one one another for good works and encourage one another in hope (Heb 10:24-25)
- As a community, we walk in the light in fellowship with one another (1 Jn 1:5-7)
- We share honourand suffering together, we care for one another (1 Cor 12:25-26)
I am attracted to the church as a community that supports my growth in faith
I want to develop a stronger sense of belonging in the SJSM community
I am baptized and confirmed, and I want to be more active and help build up the SJSM community
I am helping others grow in the SJSM community. I want to learn the grace of both blessing and being blessed by others.
